Stress And Hard Times
Stress and hard times are like cause and effect, where hard times are the cause and stress is the effect. Their relationship is intertwined.
Stress refers to a worried state of mind or the feeling of tension or pressure from unpleasant and challenging circumstances.
Hard Times is a combination of two words Hard and Times, synonymous with difficult and period. It refers to the period of difficulties, and when one is said to be going through hard times, it means they are experiencing challenges in life, which could result in stress.
When in stress, you feel down by the pressures of life and need a way of relief from it. A simple form of stress relief you can get is a word of encouragement or an assurance that it will get better, and the scriptures seem to be rich in that. So, while you take a deep breath, do a few works, and eat a healthy diet, you can get a few words to meditate on.
Therefore, let me share with you some Bible verses about stress and hard times to encourage and empower you in whatever challenges or circumstances of life you find yourself.

Lessons From These Bible Verses For Stress And Hard Times
Prolonged stress can lead to distress. Still, God can deliver those who trust in Him. Below are some lessons you can learn from the Bible verses for stress and hard times:
The Lord Delivers
In the paragraph, the Psalmist told of how he was in distress and cried to the Lord, and the Lord heard him. If you read through the passage, you will see the narration of how the Lord drew him from many waters and delivered him from his strong enemy. In your stress and worries, you can approach God in prayer, trusting that He will deliver and save you from that trouble.
The Lord Provides
Another encouragement showed up in the second paragraph: it is about the Israelites in the wilderness. They were without a city, hungry and thirsty, and they cried to the Lord in their trouble. He delivered and led them on the path to inhabit a city. God knows your needs and has made provisions for you. There is a process, and you must trust God in it.
The Lord Is Your Stronghold
In the third paragraph, we see an outline of what the Lord is to the needy: a stronghold, a refuge, and a shade. You should let God be all of that and more to you in that situation you found yourself.
The Lord Gives Rest
The Lord is offering rest to everyone stressed by the difficulty of life and burdened. He calls you to come and learn at His feet to follow His footsteps and be at peace with yourself. You can be sure that the rest Christ offers is not temporary but eternal.
You Will Come Out Stronger
As long as you are in this world, you will be tempted and have the test of faith. James encouraged you to count it all joy cause it leads to endurance, which you need to keep alive. As a believer, there will come times when you get all stressed out, grow through it, and come forth stronger.
Find Peace In God
Do not let worrying take a grip on you. Instead, take every challenge to God in prayer, with thanksgiving. You will find peace in doing so.
There is nothing good that is hard for the Lord. A songwriter wrote, “What He says He will, He will do.” The Lord left His peace with The Believers Today and said He will be with you till the end.
Therefore, as you walk with the Lord, cast your cares on Him, trust, and obey. Shalom aleichem.
