Women In The Bible
Contrary to popular beliefs, women are often said to be full of circles. They are powerful, and a stand-by one is a stand for all.
When looking for how true that could be, you should look at the women in the Bible. Look at women like Eve, Sarah, Miriam the prophetess, Shiphrah and Puah, Deborah the Judge, Esther, Mary, and Priscilla, to mention a few. They all played unique and outstanding roles in their times and in the situations they found themselves.
If the women in the Bible could do the exploits they did, women today can learn from them and do much more for themselves, their families, friends, and the world at large.
However, there have been some discouraging factors that seem to make some women feel they are not enough or that God created them only to be assistants and dependent on men.
However, in the beginning, God created man–male and female He created them. So, beyond the sensitivity of the idea, never forget the equality revealed in the beginning.
Furthermore, the Bible says a lot more about women, and I will share some encouraging Bible verses for women to instruct, empower, and encourage every woman among The Believers Today.

Titus 2:1–5 WEB
“But say the things which fit sound doctrine, that older men should be temperate, sensible, sober minded, sound in faith, in love, and in patience: and that older women likewise be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good; that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sober minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God’s word may not be blasphemed.”
Lesson From These Encouraging Bible Verses For Women
The above Bible verses have unique messages to offer from a contextual position. Considering each paragraph of verses, let me share some lessons you can take home.
- The first and second paragraphs reveal the excitement, love, and support that women bring to the table. Miriam and the women supported Moses in singing praises to God with dances. The women did likewise with David when he was victorious over the Philistines.
- The encouraging Bible verse in the third paragraph, speaks volumes to how women stand up for their kind, even in the most challenging times. They encourage one another and help however they can.
- In the fourth paragraph, the Bible verse summarizes what women go through in childbearing: the suffering they go through in giving birth and the joy they derive in seeing a new baby in the world. What a gold!
- The gift verse shows how honest women can be when they have to. Even Jesus appreciated her openness by telling her to cheer up! Women are special!
- In the sixth paragraph, the Psalmist speaks of how God visits the barren woman, and she becomes a mother of children. Women love children. Some who do not have kids often feel depressed, but it is good news that God can make things possible.
- The seventh paragraph speaks of a virtuous woman. There is indeed a woman among women. A woman whose husband and children are glad to have. A precious woman, humble, loving, and caring. There is that quality in every woman.
- Wisdom is profitable to direct. Being a wise woman is a precious gift. That quality makes a family builder, and that is what women are broadly known for.
- The verses that followed speak to the way women appear and the way they behave, especially in the family. Dressing decently, with modesty, is a sign of majority and good training. The same goes for the way you treat your husband and children. Love should be the watchword.
An understanding of women in the Bible and women today shows that women are precious to the world. Women deserve all the appreciation they can get in this world.
I hope the woman who sees this message finds encouragement, joy, and peace in the world. Shalom aleichem.
